United Way / Centraide

The mission of United Way / Centraide is to maximize financial and volunteer resources in order to promote mutual aid, social commitment and self-reliance as effective means of improving the quality of life of local community members, and especially of its neediest members.

Abbott Canada is a proud supporter of Centraide. In 2007 we raised $101,000 through various internal “fun” fund raisers like jeans day, book sales, karaoke and raffles. We also participated in the kickoff Centraide's March of 1,000 Umbrellas.
