Rick Hansen Foundation
The mission of the Rick Hansen Foundation is to inspire others to share in the achievement of big dreams that accelerate improvements in the quality of life of people with spinal cord injuries (SCI).
Abbott Canada participates in the yearly “Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion” fundraiser. In 2007, this event raised over $2 million across Canada. Since 2003 this event has helped fund over 650 Quality of Life projects.
